ISEA invites you to come out for a fun networking event hosted at the IBEW-NECA Technical Institute in Alsip, Illinois on Saturday, October 26th from 11am-2pm!

The Volunteer Appreciation Event will connect you with other Illinoisans passionate about solar energy and give you the opportunity to learn about additional ways you can share your solar enthusiasm with others. 

The event will also feature an exclusive tour of the IBEW-NECA Technical Institute training center.

The training center features a 5 kw wind turbine, an 18 kw solar car port, a 60' climbing tower, a PV/Battery storage room, as well as a 54 kw ground mount system and a 10 kw roof mounted array! 

Lunch will be served at the event.

11:00: Arrive, welcome, mission of the Solar Ambassadors

11:45: Tour of the IBEW-NECA Training Center

12:45: Lunch

1:00: Talking points, solar house and solar suitcase training, questions and discussion

2:00 - 3:00: In person training for new Solar Ambassadors or for those that just want a refresh*

* If you aren’t able to stay for the training, ISEA will offering a Solar Ambassador training via a webinar the following week
