The Illinois Solar Energy Association’s Young Professionals Council (YPC) is hosting a relaxed, career-focused evening at the University of Illinois Chicago to kick off 2026. This event is designed for early- and mid-career professionals who want to strengthen their professional presence, grow their network, and stay engaged with the solar & storage industry.

Each attendee will receive complimentary professional headshots, suitable for LinkedIn, company profiles, and conference or speaking materials. Professional headshots typically cost $150–$300, but tickets for this event start at just $30 for YPC Members, making this an affordable, high-value opportunity to refresh your personal brand.

Throughout the evening, the YPC will also share a brief overview of its 2026 Strategic Plan, outlining upcoming initiatives focused on professional development, policy literacy, leadership growth, and industry collaboration. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of what the YPC has planned for the year ahead and how to get involved.

The event is intentionally structured so participants can rotate through headshot sessions while others network and connect. This flexible format keeps the atmosphere casual, encourages conversation, and allows everyone to engage at their own pace.

Thanks to generous event sponsorship, ticket prices are kept low to ensure this opportunity is accessible to students and young professionals across the clean energy sector.
