Stop by the home of Greg Miller in Evergreen Park on this year's Illinois Solar AND Storage Tour!

The Solar AND Storage Tour is a series of FREE events that feature homes, businesses, and nonprofits throughout the state that have installed both solar and storage on their property. Many sites have also integrated other technologies, such as EVs and heat pumps. During each Tour, hosts open their doors to their community and invite their neighbors in to learn about how to go solar - and invest in storage - from someone who has already been through the process! Each event includes a short presentation on the host's solar & storage story, a tour of their system, and plenty of time for questions and socializing.

Why I went solar: Ours was the first solar panel installation in Evergreen Park. In 8th grade, I had a dream of being able to “gas up “ my car from my roof. I now charge my car from my roof! Dreams do come true if you work hard enough.

Registration is encouraged, but not required.

• Meet people who have renewable energy installations, learn why they did it, the process, what they love about it and lessons learned
• Learn about the different technologies and see how they are installed
• Hear how different renewable energy technologies work together
• Find out all of the ways you can use clean energy to power your life
