EPA Listening Sessions on Carbon Pollution

  • U.S. EPA Region 5 Offices, Metcalfe Federal Building, Lake Michigan Room, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago

Join ISEA,Sierra Club and other Illinois environmental groups on November 8 in Chicago: EPA listening session on carbon pollution

This summer, President Obama committed the U.S. to be a global leader on curbing climate disruption and proposed that we start by limiting carbon pollution from power plants. Currently, there are no limits on the amount of carbon pollution spewed into the air by power plants. It's time to change that.

The EPA is hosting listening sessions to gauge support for taking action to limit carbon pollution from power plants. One of these sessions is in Chicago on November 8. There will be strong opposition to these new limits from the fossil fuel industry, so we need your help to show strong support for bold action to address climate disruption.
