Building Integrated Photovoltaics in Curtain Walls and as a Roofing Material
Join the Illinois Solar Energy Association for BIPV in Curtain Walls and as a Roofing Material
What can a design team do to increase LEED points, provide daylight control and reduce energy consumption? And, more important, what can you do to implement photovoltaics into a curtain wall design or replace a traditional roof system with integrated photovoltaics? This lecture explores the definitions of BIPV. It also uses existing Illinois case studies amongst others to illustrate the design possibilities of Building Integrated PV and promotes the industry’s leading PV Integrator in the United States. This focus can have both LEED Performance and system design impacts. In this presentation, Atlantis Energy will provide the tools attendees will need to be ready to have an informed discussion on the appropriate design solution for projects.
