PV Conceptual Design for Solar EV Charging

This two-day course uses a combination of lecture and classroom activities to teach the fundamentals of electric vehicle (EV) charging, and how to use PV to do it. An overview of the EV industry will cover requirements and policies for utility integration and NEC requirements.

Participants will learn how to site an EV charging station, which balance of system components are needed, charging load requirements, and how to install the EV charging station. The course will also cover troubleshooting, post installation support, and maintenance.

This course counts for 16.0 continuing education credits for NABCEP PV Installer Certification.
