PA 99-0906 requires the Commission to adopt rules concerning the certification of “entities installing a new utility-scale wind project or a new utility-scale solar project.” Section 16-128A(g) of the PUA. Staff will hold a workshop with all interested parties to discuss such certification rules on Wednesday, April 26 at 10:30am. You are welcome to join us in Springfield or Chicago and a conference bridge will be distributed for those unable to attend in person. Staff is currently drafting strawman rules for discussion at the workshop and we are hoping to circulate the strawman next week.
