WHO: Klaus Hoffmann, Chief Engineer at Ingersoll Machine Tools
WHAT: "Meet the Solar Ambassador" Blackhawk Sierra Club Program
WHEN: Tuesday, February 23, 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: JustGoods Listening Room, 201 7th Street, Rockford
Klaus Hoffmann, Chief Engineer at Ingersoll Machine Tools and presently a Solar Ambassador for the ISEA, will describe the development of his solar panel system at his home and give a cost analysis as well as a "look into the future of the solar industry." Mr. Hoffmann installed their family's solar panels in 2011 and for the last few years has produced more electricity than they consumed.
Mr. Lee Schreiner, treasurer of Rockford Urban Ministries, will give a short presentation of his experiences putting solar panels on the roof of JustGoods, the non-profit fair trade store.
This "Meet the Solar Ambassador" program, sponsored by the Blackhawk Sierra Club, will take place on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, 6:30 p.m., at the JustGoods listening room, 201 7th Street, Rockford, and is free and open to the public.
