Interest and demand for solar is growing in Illinois, so professionals working in related fields  (contractors, realtors, electricians, architects and engineers) are encouraged to learn how it works. 

This is an introductory course teaching the basics of solar energy, types of systems, system performance, and financials.

After this course, enroll in Solar Entrepreneurship 204 & 205 to learn about the solar market and the value of adding solar as an additional service.

Mark is Principal Consultant at Kestrel Development Company, providing consulting services on renewable energy policy, technology and market development.  He has over 25 years experience in renewable energy and building energy applications.  Mark is also the ISEA Board President.
