Come celebrate Earth Day as variety of businesses and nonprofit organizations share their knowledge and enthusiasm with the community.
With a "food" theme we hope to highlight the ideas of locally sourced food, organic and sustainably grown food, vegetable gardens, composting, and edible landscaping.
There will also be information about smarter energy use, better indoor/outdoor lighting, the benefits of native plants, the Glen Ellyn Saves Monarchs initiative, as well as free oak saplings. Live music and a star party with telescopes.
