Want to make your faithful voice heard on environmental issues in our state government, but not sure what to do to make a difference?

Join us on Sunday, March 22 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a Faithful Citizen Workshop at Unity Temple in Oak Park. 

This interactive workshop is a great opportunity to learn more about the legislative process Illinois and how to get more involved. Rev. Brian Sauder, Executive Director of Faith in Place, will speak about the opportunities to move environmental legislation forward in 2015. His presentation will include role-playing, interactive exercises, and policy bingo to train participants in engaging lawmakers. This workshop is free and open to the public.

It will also be helpful preparation for our upcoming Climate Rally on Earth Day in Springfield. Save the date for April 22, when Faith in Place will join the Illinois Environmental Council and other environmental groups in bringing people to the state capitol to show support for taking action on climate change. More information about rally logistics and transportation will be forthcoming.
