Advancing Wind Power in Illinois Conference

Illinois Wind Working Group's fourth annual Advancing Wind Power in Illinois Conference, on July 14-15, 2010, will take place at the Peoria Civic Center, in Peoria, Illinois. Early bird registration $90 per person through June 23, 2010. Regular registration price $125 per person will take effect June 24, 2010. Price includes both days. Optional bus tour $30 additional per person.

IWWG is an organization whose purposes are to communicate wind opportunities honestly and objectively, to interact with various stakeholders at the local, state, regional and national levels, and to promote economic development of wind energy in the state of Illinois.

IWWG is part of Illinois State University’s Center for Renewable Energy. The Center was approved by the Illinois State University Board of Trustees in November, 2007. The Center has three major functional areas: supporting the renewable energy major at ISU; serving the Illinois renewable energy community by providing information to the public; and encouraging applied research on renewable energy at ISU and through collaborations with other universities.
