Chicago Center for Green Technology 10th year Anniversary

The Chicago Center for Green Technology (CCGT) is celebrating its 10-Year Anniversary on June 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CCGT is the first rehabilitated municipal building in the nation to receive the LEED® Platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council, and was opened to the public in 2002 as a national model for sustainable design and technology.
 
Our 10th Anniversary event will celebrate CCGT’s efforts to promote green building and sustainable practices through a variety of activities including: vendor exhibits, presentations, games, food, guided tours, entertainment and an after-party event. There will also be special appearances by the City of Chicago’s Chief Sustainability Officer Karen Weigert, Department of Fleet and Facility Management Commissioner David Reynolds and Department of Transportation Commissioner Gabe Klein.
