  • 24 May 2012
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Heartland Community College, ACEC Room 2210, 1500 W Raab Road, Normal, IL 61761
Lead by MREA experts, this training will include a review of NEC Articles 690, 694 and 705 and will cover equipment listing and labeling requirements, code compliant calculations and system labeling requirements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • identify the components and configurations of the fours basic PV system types: Utility Interconnected, Utility Interconnected with Battery Back-up, Stand Alone and Direct PV
  • explain NEC Article 690 and 705 and how they relate to solar electric systems
  • demonstrate proper labeling requirements for renewable energy systems as they relate to NEC Articles 690, 694, and 705
