A B2B networking event for

renewable energy professionals

The ISEA has created Solar Drinks, a take on Green Drinks, to provide a forum for ISEA members and guests* to meet each other, network and learn about topics related to renewable energy in Illinois.

Solar Drinks is FREE, but donations are always appreciated.  We do ask that you respect our hosts, Eastgate Cafe, by purchasing food or drinks or offering a tip for their service.

The ISEA will have new Photon and Solar Today magazines available, as well as Solar Tour Guidebooks and postcards.  Come by and pick up a copy.

The September topic is Design & Install Support Tools

Learn about the latest Software and Support tools available to renewable energy professionals to assist with assessing, designing, and quoting installations more accurately and professionally.

Presenters:

Michelle Hickey & Mark Burger, ISEA
Illinois Draft Procurement Plan - learn why solar needs to speak up about the value of distributed solar.

Dan Kuthy from PVPower - SolarBear
SolarBear is a new web based app that helps solar installers quickly and accurately design, pitch and procure PV products.  SolarBear helps installers of both residential and commercial jobs save time and close more projects.

Eric Graf
from Cronan Graf - GeoPV
GeoPV is an entirely new way to do solar photovoltaic site analysis. With GeoPV you can create an energy analysis and production estimate that is more site-specific than what any other tool can provide. You create a 3D model for your site using CAD software and the GeoPV website does the rest: showing you the solar energy potential as it varies throughout your site, and also giving you interactive tools that help you design the best possible installation and produce accurate production estimates.
