The Local Economic and Employment Development/LEED Council is offering Residential Solar Photovoltaics, a program designed to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of residential solar photovoltaic systems, a rapidly growing renewable energy technology which converts the energy of the sun into electricity.  It will include a significant hands-on component.

This course is recommended as a first step for those wanting to become Solar PV system installers.  It is suitable for persons with general construction or electrical experience, but who have had little or no training in solar and want to learn the basics.  Trainees may be currently employed, underemployed or unemployed.

A few slots are still available, but disappearing quickly.
