Join USGBC-Illinois Chapter's North/Northwest Suburban Branch for an in depth look at a

3 Megawatt photovoltaic project at a
W.W. Grainger Distribution Center in Robinson, N.J.

Enjoy an evening presentation by Eric Hogberg, Grainger's Energy Manager and Felix Aguayo, SunPower's Strategic Sales Director. They will provide an overview of the lessons learned associated with this photovoltaic project which has shown a payback of less than four years. 

The presenters will explain the strategy on how this initiative fits into their overall sustainability vision and their focus on reducing the companies carbon footprint.

  • Selling project to senior leadership
  • Project bidding strategy
  • Application for 30% federal cash grant
  • Selling of Solar Renewable Energy Credits

Eric Hogberg, W.W. Grainger, Inc. - Energy Manager 

Mr. Hogberg is responsible for managing Grainger's energy supply and demand strategies aw well as providing support to the Sustainability Team. He is registered Professional Engineer in the IL and is a LEED AP.

Felix Aguayo, SunPower - Strategic Sales Director

Mr. Aguayo joined SunPower in 2004 with over 20 years of experience in the utility sector. He has an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
