American Solar Challenge - Normal Pit Stop

Teams will finish in Normal, IL on June 25 on the campus of Illinois State University.  The following morning, the final sprint leg of the American Solar Challenge will begin at the Children’s Discovery Museum.

June 25
9:00 a.m.   Stage Stop Officially Opens for racers to check-in

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Teams will arrive throughout the day as they complete this leg of the race

4:00 p.m.
Stage Stop Officially Closes for racers to check-in. Any teams that have not arrived will have to bring their car in by trailer.

12:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Activities will be open to the public. Free activities include mini-solar car races, create your own checkered flag, bags and ladder golf, and a solar car scavenger hunt.

Also be sure to VOTE for the People’s Choice Award for your favorite solar car!

Winner will be announced Saturday morning at 9:45 a.m. In addition to these free activities, other opportunities will be available by purchasing an all-access wristband.
